Originally created as a MAAF site after WWII. The property was for a time a research centre for Rhone Poulenc and then Bayer. GAM obtained a residential consent for 105 homes on an under-utilised part of the site which it sold to Bovis Homes in 2016. The retained property is now a mixed research, office and light industrial park which is held as a long term investment. As part of the residential sale GAM ensured that the retained property was connected to new infrastructure.
